& Our Mission
Golfers Against Cancer is an all volunteer 501c3 charitable organization whose mission is to raise money for cancer research and honor friends and families battling all forms of cancer. Funds are raised through charitable donations, sponsorships and by your participation in annual golf tournaments, dinners, events and live/silent auctions. Proceeds from these events are used to fund research seeking cures to various cancers. Through the years, GAC has raised $27 million for cancer research and has funded over 100+ specific research projects at leading institutions around the nation focusing on cures for a wide range of cancers.

Abby, at 14, embodies the essence of youth with her vibrant spirit and multifaceted talents. A freshman at Covenant Christian School in Conroe, she stands out as a straight-A student and the co-captain of the Junior Varsity Cheer Team. Her interests span from playing the guitar to being an avid reader, and she's the best big sister to Cody. Known as an Ever-Loyal Kiowa at Camp Mystic, Abby is admired for her beauty, humor, intelligence, and kindness. She's the light in her father David's eyes and shares a special bond with him through their mutual love for deer hunting, which inadvertently led to the discovery of her brain tumor.
Golfers Against Cancer Annual Golf Tournaments and the Dinners for Cancer Research raise funds for innovative cancer research on an annual basis. As an all volunteer organization, these events enjoy fantastic support from our surrounding communities, local businesses, sponsors and of course, all of our volunteers. All of our Board Members (National and local chapters) are all volunteers. Many of our GAC Board and volunteers are cancer survivors! Please join and 'chip in' to help speed the cure of cancer.
