Walden on Lake Conroe Golf Club (13101 Walden Road, Montgomery, 77356) is proud to be the new national location for our Annual Charity Golf Tournament that is open to the public and is in support of Golfers Against Cancer (GAC).

Thank you to all our incredible sponsors and attendees who joined us for our Gala for a Cure: A Night in Havana, and our tournament on Monday, October 21, 2024. We reached our goal, and raised over $300,000. Our next step is to proudly honor our "Carson Hiemenz Grant" and fund much needed research to give new treatment options to children fighting blastoma cancer.

Annual Gala and Golf for Cancer Denver

The Denver Chapter was started in 2009 with the mission to assist researchers in advancing their projects to the stage where they can receive federal grants. Our organization is unique in that it sponsors research projects that are in the early stages of development that would not normally qualify for federal funding. To date, we have donated over $1.8 million to Colorado-based research projects and we are proud to announce that these projects have received over $28 million in additional grant money as a direct result of our donations. In addition, we have funded two projects that have led to the development of a clinical trial. Our 2024 goal is to donate over $100,000, from our events, which will be used to provide funding for research being conducted at local research facilities in Colorado.

The 16th Annual AutoNation Golfers Against Cancer Golf Tournament was held on July 25th at The Ridge at Castle Pines. Event details for 2025 are coming soon!
